Session Evaluation
It is important to carry out a warm up to prepare the body and muscles for exercise. (Reilly 2003) As I put this point across I asked for group participation and they decided what we were going to include and what areas of the body to stretch. As we have been warming up for a number of weeks now everybody was able to confidently give and exercise and the group worked well together.

Through out the drills the more experienced participants started to help the weaker players and I could stand back and observe this dedicating more time to Emma and helping progress the drills on when needed. After completing the drills I dedicated the last 10 minutes of the session to formations and positions. As attacking and defensive formations are viewed as complimentary aspects of the same process (Jones 1999) I was able to discuss them together with the whole group as one. They decided where they wanted to play in the match next week and I helped decided positions as it is going to be a kick around in our last training session, two equal teams working on skills that have been developed over the last five weeks.

I feel that all objectives where met and as I think it is important for even strikers to know how to defend this point was put across. Everybody enjoyed the session and is looking forward to next weeks match.
